Open Window Detection monitors the room temperature while the heater attempts to achieve a desired room temperature. If the room temperature does not change or decreases while heat is being emitted, the product will stop heating and enter a standby mode in order to not waste energy. For the first time, PLXE can now be remotely controlled via the internet using the Dimplex Control smartphone app**. With Dimplex Control, you have total command of your supported Dimplex products, anytime, anywhere. Configure and operate your heaters or hot water cylinders, individually or by zone, and easily track the energy usage of each.
