The intumescent material used in the fire hood is breathable and its construction allows heat from the lamp to be dissipated, preventing the terminal block and downlight from overheating. The fire hood is flexible and light and can be used in plasterboard, concrete or suspended ceilings. 60 Minute Fire Rated. NOT acoustically rated.
